Development of PLASTIC BEARING HOUSINGS resulted from a strong demand for non-corrodible bearing units for machinery in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. R.A. Rodriguez pioneered the introduction and usage of these products in Europe and are the market leaders in this field.

The precision molded plastic housings are made to close tolerances from high grade glass fibre filled thermoplastic material. The housings tough, wear and shock resistant and resist most alkaline, low acid (pH 4-9) and salt solutions. Unlike conventional cast iron housings their smooth surface is easily cleaned, and they will not corrode or promote the growth of micro-organisms: there is no coating to chip or scratch.

Housings in stainless steel are also available.

Chain Tensioners
The automatic tighteners take up the chain slackening and keep the tension constant, without the operator making adjustments. The TO-TA-TA-ET tighteners are designed to last and are made of high quality materials.

Belt Tensioners
The Orient swiveling tightener operates as a fixed device and does not, therefore, have any helical springs or elastomers inside it, offering the added advantage of being simple and lightweight.

Overload Clutches
The LIMIT clutch-operated torque limiting device is a reliable, high quality device. It is used to protect the drive from excessive loads which can damage the various units.

Purchased in 1994 by Fred Thimmel, Bryant Products lines have expanded to include hydraulic, spring compression, and pneumatic actuation as well as other application modifications such as the patented Telescoper®Quick Release for food grade wash down applications. We offer thermoplastic and steel conveyor rollers, head and tail pulleys, and other conveyor components such as chain guards.

The diversity of our product lines reflects the diversity of the customer base, which is divided nearly evenly between material handling, food processing, and bulk solids such as quarries, mining, and recycling.
