Purchased in 1994 by Fred Thimmel, Bryant Products lines have expanded to include hydraulic, spring compression, and pneumatic actuation as well as other innovations such as the patented Telescoper® Quick Release for food grade wash down applications. We offer thermoplastic and steel conveyor rollers, head and tail pulleys, and other conveyor components such as chain guards. The diversity of our product line reflects the diversity of the customer base, which is divided nearly evenly between material handling, food processing, and bulk solids such as quarries, mining, and recycling.
The telescoper is a uniquely designed module most extensively used as a converyor belt take-up. Used in pairs, the Telescoper® becomes a belt trainer and tensioner. It can also be adapted to many other uses such as leveling or in any application where controlled linear movement is required. Standard sizes of Telescoper® modules in both stainless and mild steel are in stock and available for same day shipment via UPS. Or if you wish, we can stock Telescoper® for you according to your specific needs, available for shipment on demand. Telescoper® take-ups are also available through our extensive distributor network to serve our rapidly growing list of customers. Please contact us for the name of our nearest distributor. The patented Telescoper® tensioning devices are avilable in the following conifgurations to support pillow block bearings to take shaft sizes from 12mm to 150mm diameter (1/2" to 6")

Quick Release Telescoper®
The Quick Release Telescoper® takes the guess work out of re-tensioning and re-tracking and reduces the cost of downtime during wash down. Push the clamp handle forward and the Telescoper® is in the run position. Pull the clamp back, and you immediately retract the Telescoper® 3", placing 6" of slack in the belt. The Quick Release Telescoper® always returns to the original tension and tracking settings so there is no need to repeat this time consuming practice of re-tensioning and re-tracking the belt every time the conveyor is washed down. The elimination of this constant re-tensioning will also reduce the incidence of premature failure of the belt and splicing due to over-tensioning of the belt.

Conveyor rollers are a highly customized product since the material to be conveyed, the environment in which it is being conveyed and the speed at which the belt travels all vary greatly from application to application. Our rollers offer the designer customized roller assemblies from a wide variety of readily available stock components.
