For IEF WERNER, the increasing complexity of industrial
systems was a challenge to develop a transport and positioning system
capable of industry in an economical and simple way.
posyART
allows the
user to react immediately and with minimum fuss to changed production
needs.
This is true both for conversion of existing installations and expansion.
The system is based on an aluminum section element which can be installed
as a simplex (single), duplex (double) or multiplex (multiple) unit.
In other words, transport or positioning systems can be built with one,
two or more tracks.

Special

Many years of experience in the field of handling
and automation technology have led to the development of the IEF Linear
module family.
The basic concept was to create a system series
capable of rational, inexpensive and universal operation.
Such contradictory demands as high speed and dynamic
response, low weight, high rigidity, minimum deflection, high load capacity
and exact repeat accuracy are ideally combined in these modules. Four
sizes are available for different loads and applications: Module 68 up
to approx. 5kg, module 105 up to approx. 60kg and module 142 up to approx.
130kg

Application experiences of long standing in the handling and automation
system technique field have led to the development of the IEF family of
linear modules. The basic idea was to create a system line that is applicable

Customers do not only get the mechanical system parts but the complete control
system, too. For control of stepper and servomotors of 1-8 axes the PA-CONTROL
family is currently at your disposal.

One of the most important product areas at IEF is
programmable precision slides.
The
linear slide system is designed in accordance with a modular concept.
Each slide type is available in any size, with any stroke and any spindle
type. The modular system guarantees optimum solutions with short delivery
times.
The
wide range of accessories permits realization of anything from a simple
combination to multi-axis systems. Selected components guarantee properties
suitable for the application in question.
The
range is enhanced by various drive concepts. There is a choice between
stepper or servo motor drive systems or a combination of these.

Rotary
Units
The main features of
the stepper motors are the high torque at rest and in the lower speed
range.
The rotary motion is
performed step-by-step. This movement is dictated by the PA-CONTROL. The
resolution depends on the one hand, on the electronics. Stepper motors
are brushless and therefore maintenance free. The additional options -
encoder and safely brake increase the operational reliability, when needed.

Y- Z Hand Adjusted Slides
The IEF range of hand
operation slides can also be equipped with either a dovetail, cross roller
or teflon guides. All slides can be produced and supplied in an extremely
wide variety of types and sizes to a customer specification. The latest
addition to the slide range is DOMILINE, the variable-combination adjustable
slide system.
This visually and
technically sound modular system is available in a large number of different
variants and widths. There are also combinations with and without mechanical
locking devices, with a spindle or, if desired, a pneumatic or motor drive.

Cross
Roller & PTFE Lined Guideways
Type R cross roller guide tracks can be fitted with either ball or roller
rolling elements and are suitable for medium or heavy duty applications.
These standard elements can be interchanged. They are used in machine
and jig constructions and in measuring and testing systems.
Installations can be horizontal or vertical. In vertical use we recommend
using cage variants V or HVK and end screws EV.
The guide tracks are
made from tool steel and tempered. Their hardness is 60 - 62 HRC. The
surfaces are precision ground. Under normal conditions they can be used
at speeds of up to 50 m/min.
