Chain Tensioners
The automatic tighteners take up the chain slackening and keep the tension constant, without the operator making adjustments. The TO-TA-TA-ET tighteners are designed to last and are made of high quality materials. The maximum operating temperatures is 65°C (100°C for the ET model only).

Belt Tensioners

The Orient swivelling tightener operates as a fixed device and does not, therefore, have any helical springs or elastomers inside it, offering the added advantage of being simple and lightweight.

Its distinguished feature is that it can be swivelled in any direction, both before and after assembling, should the belt or chain require its tensioning to be adjusted as a result of stretching. This has been made possible thanks to toothing both on the base and on the lever, so that the two parts come in to contact every 15° throughout the entire 360° revolution: this results in 24 possible positions between base and lever.

The range includes: ORIENT, ORIENT-R with toothed reel, ORIENT-PU with pulley, ORIENT-P with polyethylene head.

Overload Clutches
The LIMIT clutch-operated torque limiting device is a reliable, high quality device. It is used to protect the drive from excessive loads which can damage the various units.
When operating normally, the LIMIT limiting device transmits the necessary torque and slides when overloads.
The torque is regulated simply by turning the lock-nut.
If the torque exceeds the prescribed limits, the drive automatically disconnects the driven unit.
